I am having some intense food cravings for sugar and processed foods. I've read in the past that sugar cravings are the bad bugs and candida trying to rebuild their numbers. Is this accurate?

ADDITONAL INFORMATION: The other two phases were relatively easy to get through without any cravings at all. It has become difficult to navigate the grocery store past all of the crap. Could Christa speak about this a little during the webinar if possible? I'm getting a little nervous about these cravings and being on my own in few weeks. I haven't caved into these cravings but am a little worried about being able to control myself once we are on our own.

A: Yes indeedy. Those little bugs can send signals to the brain for room service. They can cause leptin resistance which means the appetite stays high and they certainly send out for dessert. Hang tough! It WILL pass. Old Doc Wheelwright used to say to "wilt" some collard greens or kale or chard in a skillet and eat them with breakfast to solve that situation. I don't know how that works, but I've done it and it did work. And it's worked for others. Generally it's a "test of time game" but you should not have to endure this situation for more than two weeks IF you hang tough. It might help to have some almond butter spread on a celery stalk as a snack.
