When I am shopping for spices/coconut etc., do they have to be certified organic? My local organic store only has non-organic coconut. Also with your shipment arrangements for the supplements, are we certain that airport customs will not irradiate them?

No, they don't have to be certified organic. If you have the option though, we highly recommend it. UPS is one of the only carriers that don't irradiate their packages. There is no guarantee what they will do with them in customs. However, if they do irradiate them, it's still much better than not having them at all, and the radiation should be minimal and not lower the impact or potency of the herbs to affect efficacy for you. Until we find a better option for zero irradiation, we’ll have to do the best we can.
