You need to minimize even R-Starch at first. Don't neglect your adrenals and don't neglect the body's need for low-carbs, but also don't take too much license at first with R-Starch. Here's why— not a lot of research to cite, but it seems that the really virulent forms of Candida can munch on R-Starch, not necessarily Candida albicans, but some of the nastier fungal forms. Further, the bacteria that do nosh on R-Starch can make glucose from it, and if they are symbiotic with Candida, then they'll become suppliers to the Candida (Much like the way that political trade embargoes don't really work so well, and simply create black markets. See, microbes have much to teach us.) So start the program with low amounts of R-Starches. This is certainly better than sugars. Then you can gradually increase them as you gain the higher ground.
