- I have Stage 3 Adrenal Fatigue and positive SIBO test. Is Yerba Mate okay to drink while on GT5 or damaging to my situation? I am drinking CCF, Ginger Turmeric Lemonade and Peppermint tea, but miss the Yerba Mate.
- It is my understanding that we are to starve the bad bacteria by not eating carbs and sugar (SIBO) throughout the fast, but we are to eat carbs to not starve the thyroid. Does it all boil down to the type of carbs? I’m confused.
- I was wondering if it would be a problem to eat my starchy carbs away from my protein and other veggies. I find this has helped eliminate constipation for me in the past. Also curious why constipation is such a problem with this program?
- Besides the 80/20 rule, is there a place for a 99/1 rule like when I decide to have nitrate-full, antibiotic-full bacon, or a non-organic egg, or something cooked in the wrong oil? Would damage control be taking a probiotic or/and digestive enzyme?
- Can I get Jack’s take on non-gluten grains and beans?
- I am allergic or sensitive to eggs and wondering what I can substitute during the program.
- Can I do this program if I have severe reactions to many of the recommended foods? Would the colonics and coffee enemas benefit me?
- Do you recommend following a blood-type diet to help with digestion? Is there any validity to this diet? Can we take Sac. B if on plan S but also have Candida?
- What is the Ginger Pickle recipe?
- Is it preferable to wait until the reseeding phase or later to have berries with our bone broth? I want to maximize my results, but I’m thinking it’s better to wait and get the maximum starvation of the sugar-fermenter species.
- Can I still do the program if I'm going to imbibe in drinks with alcohol occasionally?
- If we were going to have alcohol as part of the 80/20 rule, what would be the best type in terms of having candida/yeast overgrowth? Red wine?
- Any suggestions for eating strategies when almost every food still causes bloating after 30+ days of the Pathogen Plan (Plan F with S and FODMAP sensitivities)? Is it really possible to eliminate all of the foods that create a reaction?
- What about starches like tapioca, potato, and arrowroot, for incorporating with flours like almond flour, coconut flour, or brown rice flour? Are these ok?
- Can you give any brand name recommendations for plant-based protein powder to use in breakfast smoothies?
- I seem to be always hungry on these Paleo Plans. Is that normal?
- Jack said if you are on Plan P, to minimize salads and raw foods until after the pathogen purge. Are salads a big way that a person can get parasites?
- I bought the Vitamineral Green that you recommended, but then you said not to eat raw, or too much raw lettuce on Plan P. Should I wait on taking this juice? Also, why is Plan S not supposed to eat garlic, onions, leeks and for how long?
- On the questionnaire, when asked if we crave carbs, I answered yes, but really it’s not carbs but chocolate. Does that matter? What happens to chocolate (cocoa) during the program?
- If I can’t afford organic, what should I do to eliminate pesticides from my veggies?
