Lab Testing

  • How accurate are the food sensitivity tests?
  • Can you recommend a reputable lab for testing MTHFR? Or heavy metal testing? Is testing by hair best for that?
  • Can you explain the different tests to confirm the different pathogens (i.e. stool, colonoscopy, etc.)? I understand they are expensive. Are there any other reasons for their ineffectiveness? What tests would you recommend if we still wanted to take them?
  • I'm seeing my MD today for a general checkup. Can you suggest some tests? I'm going to ask for C-Reactive Protein, Vitamin D, B12, B6 and heavy metals.
  • I decided to take Christa's advice and go to FDN. The course starts with our own lab work before working with clients. I didn't want to start the lab work until I was somewhat stabilized after the Gut Thrive program. When can I begin BioHealth lab work?
  • Do you need to run any labs or tests to do the program?
  • I ordered a lactulose breath test before attending and signing up for this program. Should I take it now, or should I save it for 6 weeks or later?
  • Do the supplements skew lab work? Especially ones run for kidney function?
