- Do you recommend following a blood-type diet to help with digestion? Is there any validity to this diet?
- I am lactose and fructose intolerant. I've also lost 20 pounds in the last year due to gut issues and diarrhea. I currently weigh 104 pounds. I cannot afford to lose any more weight. Is this program a good fit for me?
- I am quite underweight and after GAPS for a year, I added in rice, which has helped me gain weight. The pathogen purge says no grains, so I’m worried I’ll lose the weight I’ve gained. How can I keep from losing weight without grains like rice?
- Will this work with a keto diet? Or is it possible that will I not need to go to that super low carb level after this is completed?
- I did food sensitivity testing and have eliminated my highly reactive foods (mushrooms, lemons, cow dairy, whey, eggs). Should I continue to leave these out until after the pathogen purge? How about moderate foods?
- Have you heard of Melissa Richardson's book "Baking with Natural Yeast"? After clearing our systems and learning all the better eating tricks, would her recommendations be valuable?
- I have a good 60 lbs. to lose and haven't had the best diet, so I’m very worried that doing the full GT5 program might be way too much for my overburdened body. I am on Plan P. Any suggestions?
- I've been eager to start my fermented sauerkraut & water kefir. When can I start this?
- Is coconut oil or ghee better to add if you have constipation? Does ghee go bad? I heard not to store it in the refrigerator, but I think mine smells differently than when I bought it, and it seems to be darker. Is that normal?
- Should I be concerned about taking the supplements if I score high on my Antibody Assessment for some of the ingredients?
- Is Crio Bru (roasted cacao coffee substitute) allowed on the program?
- I have finished the reseeding phase - plan F. Can I add Ezekiel bread back in at some point?
- What is your take on “natural yeast” making a difference in using grains?
- Can we eat quinoa?
- I exercise usually 3 x a week in body strength classes. Will I be able to continue while doing the Gut Thrive in 5?
- Do berries and bananas always need to be eaten separately from each other?
- Can I just clarify that, for the purposes of this program, eggs are not classed as dairy?
- Can resistant starches e.g. green banana, be eaten with grains? Or still avoided since its a fruit?
- Does listening to your body include being able to eat nightshades if you have Hashimoto's? I love salsa, and it doesn’t seem to bother me. So I hate to cut out tomatoes if I don’t have to.
